Medical Office Business Manager

We currently have a full-time exempt Medical Office Business Manager position available. Position acquires and maintains staff resources at a level which balances employee workload and client needs to adequately maintain the daily, weekly and monthly processing for high customer satisfaction, (i.e. department budget, process checklist and grading). Manager must ensure training equips new Claims Analysts with knowledge and understanding of TeamPraxis systems and processes to enable Claims Analyst to fulfill his/her job responsibilities. Regularly coach Claims Analysts and provide accessible documentation on how to efficiently and effectively utilize TeamPraxis systems (Misys, Carenet, ConnxtMD). Also educate Claims Analysts on carrier updates and facilitate necessary changes in workflow needed for maximum reimbursement. Monitor quality of work, identify denial trends and make workflow recommendations for continual improvement.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet demands of clients’ needs. Schedule regular contact with clients through individual and group training sessions to achieve rapport and optimal customer satisfaction. Assess and revise operations structure to accommodate growth in a way that meets both client and company needs.

Must be computer literate, able to perform basic word processing and utilize Excel. Detailed knowledge of medical terminology preferred, excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills required. Minimum 5 years medical billing experience required, 2 years in supervisor capacity.
