Success in just three easy steps! This is the concept TeamPraxis President and CEO Creighton Arita shared with an audience of his peers at this year’s Allscripts Executive Summit Conference.

Speaking to an audience of more than 100 healthcare executives, Arita described how TeamPraxis is connecting independent physicians, other players in the healthcare community, and the consumer population through a three-fold technological plan.

Part one and part two include integration of practice management and electronic health record systems in Hawaii physician’s offices. Part three was the real attention getter and news to most of the conference attendees. Arita introduced the concept of automated quality reporting to attendees.

Since early 2007, TeamPraxis software developers have been constructing a “no touch” system. The system compiles clinical data from numerous offices, as well as laboratories, into a warehouse and, through use of a clinical algorithm, applies appropriate reporting codes, and submits eligible claims to the government. This revolutionary system means that reporting is done quickly and accurately, removing the need to devote any human resource to dealing with the burden of paperwork.

Presenting at the conference about TeamPraxis news and developments was welcomed by Arita.

“It is so important for us to be seen on a national level,” said Arita. “Presenting to such an acclaimed audience gave me a sense that Hawaii business can truly be at the forefront of software development.”

Arita was one of just 17 presenters chosen to present at the two-day summit that began Oct. 2. The conference was attended by representatives from over 100 Allscripts licensing partners around the country.
