TeamPraxis will stop servicing computers with Windows XP after June 1, 2015. To avoid security threats, TeamPraxis recommends Windows XP users to migrate to Windows 7 operating systems (OS) or higher as soon as possible.

On April 8 of last year, Microsoft officially discontinued technical support of Windows XP and ceased creating bug fixes and vulnerability patches for it. Since then, any PC or laptop still running Windows XP is susceptible to viruses and malicious software which could allow unauthorized access to patient data.

While Microsoft’s support of Windows XP has ended, TeamPraxis understands the complexity of migrating a large environment and will continue to accommodate Windows XP users until the June 2015 deadline.
